Julia Beth McElhone - Singer

Owner, Lead Planner + Designer

Julia Beth grew up about 45 minutes north of Baltimore in the Harford County area.  She graduated from Towson University with a BS in Theatre Studies (with a focus in Stage Management) which took her to the bright lights of Las Vegas immediately following graduation.  It was there that she truly found her passion for leading and innovating change through the arts, fashion, and . . . planning!


While in Vegas, she worked various management roles in industries including high-end fashion (ask about her celebrity clientele!), local theatre - in stage management, and began her planning career assisting local planners with social and corporate events.


In 2011, she moved back to the Baltimore area where she worked in sports television and continued with event planning- freelancing at every chance she got, eventually officially launching her own business JB Agency in 2017. 


JB Agency was built on a foundation of determination and passion and it is her promise to dedicate the same love and care for your dreams as she does hers.  Currently,  she has planned over 200 weddings, specialty, corporate, and fundraising events nationwide and is excited to plan 200 more!

Kirsten Johnson

Content Specialist 


Kirsten is a digital media specialist from Harford County who has a passion for using social media to create engaging communities for local brands.  She graduated from Towson University with a BS in Electronic Media and Film and has worked as a freelancer for jewelry/fashion companies, real estate agents, and education programs.  She adores the wedding industry and in her free time, she loves to use her social media skills to help rescue animals find homes!

Brittany Skinner

Sr. Event Planning + Design Specialist 


It’s all about love for this event planner! Curating unique and creative events, Brittany’s commitment to detail produces unforgettable affairs with memories lasting a lifetime. Her favorite part of event planning- the execution, of course! “When our client first walks into a space and sees their vision has been brought to life- that’s the stuff, right there!” Whether it be a wedding celebration or a corporate party, a retirement send-off, or a celebratory luncheon, Brittany embraces each project as an opportunity to have dreams realized. 


Once a city girl, Brittany recently traded in high rises for a life on the water, now spending her spare time relaxing on the dock with her husband, daughter, and silly dogs. She has an unnecessarily large collection of throw blankets, will always accept a glass of wine, and stands firmly by the motto: 

Life’s a party; invite yourself. 

Marissa Bennett

Event Specialist


Marissa has been working in the event and hospitality industry for the better part of the last decade and is known for creating fun and memorable experiences!  She has a keen eye for detail and is always coming up with new ways to give a fresh spin on any event concept you throw her way.
